The Library
Association is located on the lower, ground, and second floors
of The Insurance Library Association of Boston Building at 156
State Street in Boston. We are in the heart of the financial
district and a 2-minute walk from Quincy Market. Our view is of
the Custom House across the street and will soon (or
eventually!) include the new parkland planned as a part of the
"big dig" project.
We are within easy
walking distance (perhaps 5 minutes) of the MBTA’s Orange Line
(State Street stop), Blue Line (Aquarium stop), and Green Line
(Government Center stop). Connections can be made from the Red
Line to any of the other lines, or a 10-minute walk from the Red
Line’s Downtown Crossing stop will get you here.
