Course Description

This webinar will give participants a thorough grounding in life insurance — from the fundamental question of why life insurance matters to the practical details of policy selection and design. Participants will explore how to estimate the economic value of a life, assess family and business needs including key person coverage, credit enhancement, and buy/sell arrangements, and evaluate the full range of policy types: term, whole life, universal, and variable life. The session also covers essential policy provisions — from grace periods and incontestability clauses to nonforfeiture options and accelerated benefits — and concludes with a hands-on group case study that challenges participants to apply what they have learned to a realistic family coverage scenario.

This session is ideal for agents and financial professionals looking to build or refresh their life insurance expertise.
