The Library is open Monday—Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Library is closed on most federal and state holidays. When the Boston Public Schools are closed due to weather, the staff will work remotely.

We welcome your visit but for your convenience we suggest that you call us at 617.227.2087 before your visit, since there are rare days when no staff are in for part or all of a day. If you are a member wishing to use our conference room for a meeting or a place to work between meetings elsewhere, please call one or two business days in advance to reserve the conference room.
