The Library is open Monday—Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The Library is closed on most federal and state holidays. When the Boston Public Schools are closed due to weather, the staff will work remotely. We welcome your visit and for your convenience we suggest that you call us at 617.227.2087 before your visit, since there are rare days when no staff are in for part or all of a day. If you are a member wishing to use our conference room for a meeting or a place to work between meetings elsewhere, please call in advance to check on availability.

Please note that due to the holidays and staff vacations, the Library will be closed December 23-26 and December 30, will close early on December 31, and is closed on January 1.
In addition, no research services will be available from December 16 through January 2.
