A review of some of the more complex
and sometimes frequently confused coverage issues encountered by claim handlers
as well as some emerging issues. First party topics include Concurrent
Causation, Collapse, Deductibles, Similarities & Differences between
Coinsurance and the Replacement Cost Provision of the Homeowners Policy, and Deductibles.
Third party issues include Drones, Dog Bites & Cyberbullying. ISO policy
language and examples will be used to illustrate the coverage issues. (Assumes
a basic understanding of homeowners’ coverage.)
