This course answers the question: What do underwriters do and why? Extensive use of case studies to demonstrate the application of the underwriting decision-making process reinforces learning. Intro to Underwriting is the perfect course to lead into the more advanced Associate in Underwriting (AU) Program. If you are a novice underwriter or aspire to be one, an underwriting assistant, a support person in an insurance company, agency or brokerage house, a CSR, or a new producer, you are a candidate.
