At the present time, our resources are not searchable electronically (such access is contemplated in the future). We are quick to respond to inquiries that are faxed (617) 723-8524 or emailed. You are also welcome to look at the collection of online resources we have collected and organized in our “Helpful Links” section.
The Saval Insurance Education Center of the Insurance Library Association of Boston offers a wide variety of courses, building on an insurance education tradition begun in 1890. Courses include those for producer pre-licensing preparation and many for national designation programs such as the Program in General Insurance and the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter, Associate in Risk Management, Associate in Claims, and Associate in Reinsurance programs. A wide selection of “short courses” and seminars qualify, as do the designation programs, for continuing education credits for licensed producers and public adjusters. You can see the full listing of our courses on that section of the website.
A capital campaign completed by the Trustees in 1995 made possible extensive renovations to our building at 156 State Street in downtown Boston, and many members enjoy browsing and meeting their friends and colleagues here. Another membership benefit is the use of meeting space in our building, when reserved ahead of time.
