Steve was a Library trustee for 37 years, from 1978 until 2015, and subsequently was made a trustee emeritus. He served as President and Counsel and was a member of or chaired numerous Board committees. While on the Board, Steve used his knowledge of insurance, his skill as a lawyer, and his passion and energy to shape and advance the Library.
Although Steve retired from the Board in 2015, his devotion and support for the Library did not.
We are honored that Steve’s wife Bobbi–a devoted supporter of the Library in her own right–and the rest of Steve’s family have selected the Library as one of the nonprofit organizations to which donations may be made in Steve’s memory. All donations in memory of Steve will be added to the Stephen J. Paris Fund, which was created by the Board to honor Steve upon his retirement from the Board.
