The Library is generally open to members, and members of the public wishing to use our collection of insurance materials for personal research, Monday—Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Library is closed on most federal and state holidays. When the Boston Public Schools are closed due to weather, the staff will likely work remotely.

There are rare days when no staff will be at the Library for part or all of a day. We welcome your visit but for your convenience suggest that you call our main number, 617-227-2087, before your visit to see if someone will be here.

If you are a member (or employee of a member organization) wishing to use our conference room for a meeting or a place to work between meetings elsewhere, please call one or two  business days in advance to see if the conference room is available.
