Our 2026 Annual Fund Is Underway

Recent annual fund donors and other supporters received a personal letter and printed copies of the annual fund brochure and donor card in February. Others are welcome to view or download copies below.

The generous support of our donors this year will provide the funds we need to support our mission of providing the insurance, risk management, financial security, and legal communities, and the public, with high-quality educational programs, opportunities for engagement and networking, and unique research resources and services, and to attain our vision is to establish the Library as the preeminent nonprofit provider of such educational programs and other services, build upon our unique position as a hub for engagement and networking, and continue to expand our reach nationally.

But all of that requires funding, for which we must increasingly rely on the generosity of our supporters.

The Library does not receive any public funds. We are supported through membership dues, revenue from our paid educational programs, event sponsorships and tickets, and, most significantly,
the generosity of donors to our annual fund.

Please note that when we acknowledge donors on our website, in our donor report, and in other ways, we list donors grouped by tier but never state the specific amount of any donor’s gift.

How To Donate

We prefer donations by check or ACH, to eliminate processing fees.

  • CHECK: Please click the image of the donor card below, and then print and complete the form and mail it with your check to: The Insurance Library, 156 State Street, 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02109.

  • EFT/ACH DIRECT DEPOSIT: Please first email admin@insurancelibrary.org to request an invoice so that we can later match the ACH deposit with the correct donor. We will provide the necessary direct deposit information with the invoice.

  • ONLINE: If you prefer to donate online, please click the Donate Now button below to go to our online giving page. Please consider the option to have the transaction fee added to the amount of your gift so that 100% of your gift will go the the Library.

    Please note that when you click the button to add the transaction fee, the platform automatically includes a “tip” to the platform. You can eliminate the “tip” by dragging the slider all the way to the left so that only the transaction fee will be added.

In 1887, Henry Hess, one of the Library’s founders, expressed his desire to make the Library “the best thing of the sort in the world.”

*Each free registration likely will be viewed by the IRS as a good or service given in exchange for the annual fund donation, thereby reducing for tax purposes the amount of the donation eligible for deduction as a charitable contribution by the regular fee for each registration.
